KNE stands for know-how for sustainable development. The KNE Sustainability Institute gGmbH is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Berlin, Germany. KNE puts sustainable knowledge into practice with the help of e-learning technology - free of charge worldwide. For everyone!

What sources of funding does the platform use?

Our platform is funded through a mix of donations, grants and partnerships with organizations and companies that are also committed to education and sustainability. The Global Alliance, an association of multinationals and large regional companies, covers the infrastructure and platform costs. The creation of learning content is funded by NGOs, foundations and other independent institutions to ensure content independence.
